1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Recruit Connects website and our recruitment services, whether you are an employer, a candidate, or a visitor to our site. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Recruit Connects Ltd (“Recruit Connects”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a recruitment agency registered in England and Wales, operating from 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

2. Definitions

• “Candidate” means any individual who registers with us, submits a CV, or is introduced by us to a Client for potential employment or engagement.
• “Client” or “Employer” means any organisation that engages Recruit Connects to source, screen, or introduce Candidates.
• “Services” means our recruitment, search and advisory services, including permanent recruitment, temporary and contract staffing, executive search, and employer support services.
• “Introduction” means the point at which we provide a Client with a Candidate’s details, CV, or arrange an interview.

3. Our Services

Recruit Connects provides recruitment consultancy services including permanent recruitment, temporary and contract staffing, candidate search and headhunting, and employer recruitment support such as salary benchmarking and interview structuring. We act as an intermediary between Employers and Candidates and do not guarantee that any Introduction will result in an offer of employment, an accepted offer, or continued employment or engagement.

4. Terms for Employers

Where a Client engages Recruit Connects to source Candidates, the following apply unless otherwise agreed in a separate signed terms of business document:

• Fees are payable in accordance with our agreed fee schedule, typically calculated as a percentage of the Candidate’s first-year gross salary or day rate, as set out in our terms of business.
• A fee becomes payable where a Candidate introduced by Recruit Connects is engaged by the Client, directly or indirectly, within the rebate period specified in our terms of business, regardless of whether the engagement is on a permanent, temporary, contract, or self-employed basis.
• Clients agree not to circumvent Recruit Connects by engaging an introduced Candidate through a third party or under a different job title to avoid payment of fees.
• Rebate or replacement terms, where applicable, will be set out in our separate terms of business provided at the point of engagement.

5. Terms for Candidates

By registering with Recruit Connects or submitting your CV, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Our service to Candidates is provided free of charge; we are remunerated by Clients upon successful placement.

• We will only share your CV or personal details with a prospective Client with your knowledge and, where required, your consent.
• We do not guarantee to find you a role, and introductions are made based on our assessment of suitability against a Client’s requirements.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your CV and any information disclosed to us or to Clients during the recruitment process.

6. Website Use

You agree to use the Recruit Connects website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other malicious material, attempting unauthorised access to our systems, or using the site in a way that could damage, disable or impair its operation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and the Recruit Connects name and branding, is the property of Recruit Connects Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

8. Liability

Recruit Connects will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing our Services but does not warrant or guarantee the suitability, performance or conduct of any Candidate introduced, nor the accuracy of information provided by Candidates or Clients. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recruit Connects excludes liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our Services or website. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law. Full details of how we collect, use and protect personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a Candidate’s or Client’s access to our Services at our discretion, including where these Terms have been breached, without affecting any fees that have already become payable.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
